Instagram Grid Planner

Download our free Instagram Grid Planner .psd (photoshop, 155mb) file. This template will help you keep your marketing plan on track, and also help you create a design that spans across your Instagram grid - keeping your next campaign on brand!

As you look at the planner, work backwards for posting and creation - ie the square at the bottom right is post number 1.

Each square is also colour-coded for ease of planning - this means you know exactly what content you need to have in place and when.

Each square in the grid 1280x1280, and if you press ‘cmd’ + ‘:’ on a mac you’ll see the grid lines, which make it easy to select.

• Create your image in the square

• Using the select tool, select the desired square, then press ‘⬆️ + cmd + c’ to copy a merged version of the image.

• Press ‘cmd + n’ to create a new document, and photoshop will automatically have it in the dimensions and profile from the previous document (it’s smart like that!)

• then press ‘cmd+v’ to copy the image on to the new palette.

• Open file, export, and then ‘save for web’, and save as a png file (best for graphics). You can also use the shortcut ‘⬆️ + option +cmd + s’ to get there quicker.

Upload your beautiful new graphic to your grid and show it off to the world!
